Game Description, So Far

Story:
The Floids are a small race of creatures that are constantly at war with each other. They travel from location to location having wars until their battle ground and its resources are of no further use to them. Then they move on to fight in another location. This time they have landed on the plant Earth. Being so small in scale they have landed in a large food mart and think that food is the recourse needed for war. Maybe they fight until everything is destroyed and they end their fight in space which is where we can have a lot of fun with Sci-Fi parodies.

Floids:
Are a small race of aliens that have big noses and little bodies. They come in different colors, kind of like Nerds candy. So far they don’t seem to have a language.

Game Concept:
The game plays as a simplified battle strategy (Example: original War Craft or Command & Conquer). In other words, you pick a certain color of Floid and fight in a battle field against other colored Floids. The difference from other battle strategy games is that you have to take what’s around you to build structures, weapons, and vehicles with. Those resources are food. You will fight in different battle grounds such as a junk food area, a frozen food section, a bakery, or a fruit/vegetable area. What kind of food (recourses) you have depends on what kind of battle ground you fight in. The other option is that you can pick a food group(s) that you want your Floids to fight with. Food options can be chosen from a Food Pyramid Chart. We can also include Silverware and other kitchen items. Construction from these foods is where the real creativity comes through in this game. If we allow the players to be a part in creating these weapons / structures / vehicles it can be fun and creative for them to participate in.
This game is fun for the whole family (all ages) because nothing will be offensive in it. What I mean is that you are not out to kill your opponent but instead to get him spattered or hit through food.

Entertainment:
The whole game will be very entertaining but what can be really fun is to see a series of sequences that introduce the game, present different surroundings, and show various funny situations. One example of a situation would be the Trojan Chocolate Bunny sequence. These can be done through animation (2D or 3D) or through puppetry. I personally think the Floids would make great hand puppets. We could use them for advertisements if not in the game.
